La Ola Pop Shop started the same way many good things do — with family, tradition, and a lot of trial and error.

Our roots trace back to generations of Mexican paleteros and heladeros, where making frozen treats wasn’t just about recipes, but about patience, balance, and respect for real ingredients. That foundation shaped how we think about flavor: simple, honest, and made the right way.

In the spring of 2017, we decided to take that tradition and make it our own. What began in our garage in Kyle, Texas — producing small batches of fresh paletas — quickly turned into something bigger than we imagined. Friends, neighbors, and family became our first customers, and their reactions told us everything we needed to know: this was worth sharing.

Today, La Ola Pop Shop is proud to serve Central Texas with paletas and ice cream made using fresh, natural ingredients and recipes that let the fruit speak for itself. No shortcuts. No unnecessary additives. Just thoughtfully made treats meant to be enjoyed slowly.

La Ola Pop Shop nació como nacen muchas cosas buenas: con familia, tradición y mucho trabajo hecho con cariño.

Nuestras raíces vienen de generaciones de paleteros y heladeros mexicanos, donde hacer paletas no era solo seguir una receta, sino respetar el proceso, los ingredientes y el sabor auténtico. Esa base es la que sigue guiando todo lo que hacemos hoy: sabores honestos, bien equilibrados y hechos como se debe.

En la primavera de 2017 decidimos tomar esa tradición y crear algo propio. Empezamos haciendo paletas frescas en nuestro garaje en Kyle, Texas. Amigos, vecinos y familiares se convirtieron en nuestros primeros clientes, y su reacción lo dejó claro: esto valía la pena compartirlo.

Hoy, La Ola Pop Shop se enorgullece de servir a la comunidad del Centro de Texas  con paletas y helados elaborados con ingredientes frescos y naturales, usando recetas que dejan que el producto hable por sí solo. Sin atajos. Sin ingredientes innecesarios. Solo paletas hechas con intención, respeto y mucho amor.
